I read that one too, but there's only so much time in the day to make fun of Slate. I think the author really wanted The 1/2 Hour News Show to be completely unfunny just because it's on Fox News. Hey, I wouldn't have a problem with that either. But to be honest I thought the joke wasn't any less funny than Jon Stewart playing "Jesus Christ Superstar." Why is Jon Stewart's joke "a more incisive joke on Obama-mania and political theater than the News Hour's whole bit"? Is it because Jon Stewart has a supercool reputation at this point and anything he does is brilliant? To be fair, I didn't actually watch the clips, and usually delivery is everything. But the Fox News show just doesn't seem that bad.
What he couldn't say in that article is that the Daily Show is funny because it's satire but it's true. Fox actually is complete crap. It's like a joke about Nazis. You can't very well reverse the point of view and keep the humor now can you?

Oh you like puking huh? Then you'll love this: http://www.slate.com/id/2159999/
I just feel that saying something isn't funny isn't a good argument for it not being funny. Why isn't 99.9% a funny number?
