It's Top Five Time!

We've done it before, but this time it's gonna be official. Yoggoth is free to respond either in the comments section or with a post of his own. Anyone else who feels they have a sufficient grasp of the artists' catalogues can give it a shot as well. At the very least, I'll try to pick artists I know both Yoggoth and I admire. I'd extend the exercise to movies but I don't think Yoggoth can recall the years in which movies were made, or who directed what. I mean, what kind of top five movie lists can we do, anyway? Top five Wes Anderson films?

Telephone discussion regarding Little Earl's choice of "Lay Lady Lay" as the #1 Bob Dylan song:

Yoggoth: "You can't pick 'Lay Lady Lay' as the best Dylan song!?! That's like picking 'Yellow Submarine' as the best Beatles song."

Little Earl: "Oh you didn't just say that..."

Yoggoth: "Yeah! That's EXACTLY what it's like."

Little Earl: "No, it's like picking 'Helter Skelter' as the Best Beatles song."

Yoggoth: "No, it's not like picking 'Helter SKELTER.' It's more like picking 'Good Night' as the best Beatles song."

Little Earl: "No. It's not like picking 'Good Night.' It's more like picking 'Within You Without You.'"

Yoggoth: "You know, we're never gonna be able to agree on this." (laughter from both sides)

little earl once asked me during a phone conversation what I felt about his posts and if people reading the blog were really getting into them. He was concerned as to whether he was posting things that only he and Yaggoth find interesting, and if everybody else was kind of like, "huh, who cares?"
Well LE, I think this post just answered your own question.
