Now THIS is a plausible history of violence - in Russian and with tattoos.
Cronenberg made the same movie twice, and got it right the second time around. Unfortunately it's the same crime movie everyone else makes - with added Russian and tattoos.

And added balls. I give it props for the naked fight scene. Nothing says complete vulnerability than a hanging sack in a knife fight.
