More Monkeys

I finally got off my butt this weekend and created my own blog. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, anthropoids and anthromorphs, I give you Ludology 101. As the oh-so-clever name suggests, I'll be focusing on videogame related topics, discussing such wonderous things like the best way to take BR3 on Lockout from glass and whether the proper spelling is "video game" or "videogame". This way there'll be less gaming-related nonsense on the Cosmic American. Now I just need to find me some monkeys.

A noble endeaver, Zrbo, to be sure. I hope this doesn't mean, of course, that we'll be seeing less of your non-video game-related insights on these very pages.

I'm looking around for a Playstation 3 at the moment. Metal Gear Solid 4 just came out, and it's getting straight 10s across the board. Hideo Kojima, the producer of the series, is supposed to be some sort of auteur, the reviews keep mentioning that the game is more like a movie. There's a TON of cutscenes, apparently the final cutscene at the end of the game is 45 minutes long! I'm intrigued. I'll keep you posted on my blog (and possibly this one if it really is THAT amazing).

Instead of spending so much money on a PS3 and MGS4, why don't you just watch the cutscenes on youtube? That's what I did for MGS2, and I think I got 99% of the full experience.

Eh, why not just watch everything on youtube then? What's the point of movies and tv when you could just watch it on youtube? It's just not the same, don't you think?

I agree with zrbo. But I am one of those people that thinks youtube is a disgrace to quality film and video production.

I don't own a TV and only go to movies as an excuse to hang out with people.

PC games are more fun than console games.

Metal Gear, and any other game that doesn't let me save whenever I want to, quickly becomes tedious and I stop playing.

Homeless people make me sick and I walk around with a Venti Starbucks White Mocha just to be a douche.

Yoggoth, you truly are an examplar of humanity. I take it that Venti Mocha is nonfat decaf? Amirite?

Well played yoggoth; well played.
