Any guy who's tried to pick up chics at San Jose's Mission Ale House knows why it's called the Mission "Male" House.Wow, good thing I don't live in San Jose (unlike some people I know, whose blogger names, say, start with an H and end with an O).
And now this shocker from the Census Bureau --brace yourself: men really do outnumber women in San Jose.
The U.S. Department of the Obvious finds that there are 117 men for every 100 women in the age range of 20 to 44 years old.
Side question: what else does the U.S. Department of the Obvious study? The ratio of hookers to gamblers in Las Vegas? Perhaps the number of hookers who also...gamble?

My coworkers are always talking about how there aren't enough ladies in San Jose. At least I don't have to worry about it. Speaking of which, thanks to our state's lack-of-budget, she's probably going to get laid off from teaching! That's a sure fire way to fix public schooling, get rid of the teachers and let the kids teach themselves, we'll save millions!!
Something tells me this is a great time to be looking into a teaching career.
In a private school, yes.
This is a great time to be so rich you don't need a job. But then, it's always a great time for that.
As a (future) lawyer, shouldn't you be saying that it's a good time to sue someone who is so rich they don't need a job.
Just don't sue the State of California, I hear they only give IOU's.
