Oh, this was in Slumdog Millionaire, I didn't realize I'd already heard it. She samples the opening of the Clash's "Straight To Hell," which is fine because I always thought that was the best part of the song (I remember hearing it one time thinking, "Oh yeah, great opening," and then the rest of "Straight To Hell" was like some wimpy electro-funk thing that I wasn't too impressed with). So nice job M.I.A. Too bad the song isn't really about anything ("Yeah I got more records than the KGB"?). I wouldn't say the gun shots "ruin" the song but I can't say they improve it either. Needs more orgiastic groaning to balance it all out.

No, it's a fine song. But it does make me wanna go listen to Rumpshaker. Speaking of which, I found this interesting piece:
On the Continuing Resonance of Rumpshaker
I dont' mind the gunshots. This song was damn near the only thing I liked about Slumdog.
