I'll Have What He's Having

From the same minds who brought you the Bed Intruder Song comes this amazing ditty.  I've never wanted to eat at a Five Guys Burger & Fries so much until I watched this mouthwatering morsel of a song (look at the bacon!).  And as always, we turn to our fellow Youtube commenters to provide insight:

"His next song is on Type 2 diabetes"

"I'm a Vegan, but I still gives this a thumbs up"

"Oh god, I almost forgot to watch this song today."

and finally:

"THIS IS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN"

  1. A couple of other thoughts:

    1) That burger looks gross and I would not want to eat it, but if anyone could convince me that I should, it would be this guy.

    2) You might be right Zrbo, this really could be the new kind of "music" that will define our era. This is honestly a kind of art form that did not exist before. I mean, you could download the mp3 of this song, but the work of art is really the video, not just the audio of the song. That said, unlike a '60s pop song, I'm not sure that a video like this would make any sense to someone watching it 50 years from now. Would you need footnotes to explain why it was funny?

    3) "You bite the fry, the fry bites back"??

  2. Ha, I had to go back to the Bed Intruder post to remember that I said this might be a new form of art/music.

What's amazing to me is how these guys could 'hear' the makings of a song just from watching the original video, when there's nothing musical at all in his original review. And yeah, like you said, it's really the video that's the work of art, not just the song.

I love his exaggerated reaction when eating the fry at 1:45, like he's caught off guard at the pure tastiness of the fry.

So many other things to love, nearly every line is gold. "Look at the bacon", "The cheese is oozin'", the bulging of his eyes during the line "get yo'self that double cheeseburger", his look of regretful exasperation as he says "I wish you could smell what I'm smelling" as looks out the window, like he's so sad that you will never be able to smell what he's smelling, the way one might write to their lover in a "I wish you could be here right now with me" kind of way. Gold, all of it is gold I tell you.
